The WoMAB Awards are established to honor researchers who have worked in the field of masonry arch bridges.
Nominations for the WoMAB Award to be presented at the WoMAB 2024 Workshop have to be sent to the WoMAB Award Committee (womab@dicea.unipd.it).
Nominations must be received by August 31, 2024. In each nomination, please include a short biography of the nominee including current position, past achievements, and qualifications for this award.

WoMAB SENIOR AND YOUNG AWARDS:

• Senior Award (nominees must have been 35 years of age or older on January 1, 2024);       The award will be given to the researcher whose work in the past 10 years has contributed significantly to strengthening the scientific base of inspections, testing, monitoring, assessment or maintenance of masonry arch bridges. The work may consist of articles in journals, conference papers, professional achievements or other sources which addressed the issues of masonry arch bridges.

• Young Award (nominees must have been 34 years of age or younger on January 1, 2024);       The award will be given to a young researcher who has completed a PhD thesis or master's thesis on masonry bridges within the past 5 years.
